Tabletop Props: Super Bowl Game Day Party

The best part about Super Bowl Sunday is the excuse to throw a party and eat LOTS of food! This week we are inspired to celebrate the big game with some of our popular pieces to help showcase your favorite snacks. Use our Fromage cheese tray to serve a variety of cheeses or our Salsa bowl for fresh chips and salsa. Serve a delicious cocktail or fresh lemonade with our Mojito pitcher and highball glasses. To switch things up a bit, why not serve tapas style with some small plates like our Leaves or Portico dishes. And don’t forget to share some love for your team with some great decor! Our Lucky Number’s collection can be a fun way to support your favorite player or in our case our favorite team! Go Hawks!

Table Wear: Alhambra

This just in: everyone loves turquoise. And gold is practically the new black so, this week we took our lovely Alhambra collection that combines both these colors and created a living room around it. Playing up the negative spaces and combining textures gives this room a sophisticated yet cozy feel that will transition easily from Winter to Spring.

Patterns Past and Present: Inspired by the 50s

Here at Rosanna, we are constantly inspired by past design eras. This week's inspiration comes from a beautiful house with 50s bones, full of vintage-made-modern decor. What better way to infuse a part of design history into your home than covering your walls with real vintage wallpapers from the 50s? Check out a few of our favorite florals and quirky patterns below that we'd love to see on an accent wall!

Planned Spontaneity

Photo: BENJAMIN BENSCHNEIDER / THE SEATTLE TIMES

I was delighted to be interviewed recently by Rebecca Teagarden for The Seattle Times' Pacific NW Magazine. My interview, Planned Spontaneity, includes tips on how to make parties fun, modern and easy!

My big thing is spontaneous entertaining. As a working mom, I don’t always have time to plan lavish dinner parties.  Sometimes, I prefer to invite friends over for drinks, charcuterie and cheeses or for a potluck dinner.  These kind of parties don’t take much planning.  The real goal is to bring the people we love together, break bread and share some good times. We crave that so much—especially around our winter holidays!

Déjà Vogue: Breakfast Coat

The cold has arrived and it is time to bring out the winter coat and hat! Flaunt some style like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's with a bold color to contrast the weather. Don’t forget the sunglasses for those crisp sunny days and finish it off with some pearls. Très chic, darling.
